THE UNDERSTANDING AND PARTICIPATION IN THE PHILOSOPHY OF SUFFICIENCY ECONOMY OF HOUSEWIVES IN UDON THANI MUNICIPALITY:
A STUDY AND ORGANIZATION OF MIXED ACTIVITIES

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ1) ศึกษาความเข้าใจและการเข้าถึงปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงของแม่บ้าน ในเขตเทศบาล อำเภอเมืองจังหวัดอุดรธานี 2) ศึกษาผลของกิจกรรมผสมผสานในการพัฒนาความเข้าใจและการเข้าถึงปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงของแม่บ้าน ในเขตเทศบาล อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดอุดรธานี โดยแบ่งการวิจัยเป็น 3 ระยะ ได้แก่ ระยะที่ 1 สำรวจความเข้าใจและการเข้าถึงปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงของแม่บ้านอำเภอเมืองจังหวัดอุดรธานี กลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 402 คน ระยะที่ 2 สร้างและจัดกิจกรรมผสมผสาน ประกอบด้วย กิจกรรมกระบวนการกลุ่ม จำนวน 5 ครั้ง และการให้คำปรึกษาแบบกลุ่มจำนวน 2 ครั้ง กลุ่มเป้าหมาย จำนวน 24 คน จาก 3 หมู่บ้านคือ หมู่บ้านโพนบก หมู่บ้านช้างและหมู่บ้านหนองหิน ระยะที่ 3 ติดตามประเมิน ความเข้าใจและการเข้าถึงปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงของแม่บ้าน หลังเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมผสมผสานของกลุ่มเป้าหมาย ผลการวิจัยพบว่า
        1.แม่บ้านมีความเข้าใจปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงอยู่ในระดับมาก คิดเป็นร้อยละ 71.76 ส่วนการเข้าถึงปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงอยู่ในระดับน้อย คิดเป็นร้อยละ 31.04 เมื่อแยกตามคุณลักษณะปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง 3 ด้าน พบว่าแม่บ้านมีความเข้าใจและการเข้าถึงปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงคือ 1) ด้านความพอประมาณอยู่ในระดับมาก คิดเป็นร้อยละ75.14 2) ด้านความมีเหตุผลอยู่ในระดับมาก คิดเป็นร้อยละ 65.27 และ 3) ด้านการมีภูมิคุ้มกันในตัวที่ดีอยู่ในระดับน้อย คิดเป็นร้อยละ 44.42 
        2.ความเข้าใจปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงของแม่บ้านก่อนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม =71.50 sd = 7.48 หลังเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม =102.96 ,sd =8.98 ความเข้าใจปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงของแม่บ้านหลังเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเพิ่มขึ้นจากเดิมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.01 ส่วนการเข้าถึงปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงแม่บ้านทั้ง 3 หมู่บ้านสามารถจัดทำแผนการดำเนินชีวิตตามหลักปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงได้ และนำไปปฏิบัติอย่างต่อเนื่อง

The purposes of the present research included 1) to study the understanding and participation in the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy of housewives in Udon Thani Municipality, Udon Thani Province and 2) to study the effect of mixed activities for the development of the housewives’ understanding and participation in the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy. The study was conducted in 3 phases. The first phase was for a survey of the understanding and participation in the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy of 402 housewives in the municipality. The second phase involved the organization of mixed activities focusing on group process activities for 5 times and group counseling for 2 times, for the target group of 24 housewives from 3 villages of Pone-bog, Chang and Nong Hin. The third phase was a follow-up assessment of the housewives’ understanding and participation in the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy after their participation in the mixed activities.
       The findings: 
       1. About 71.76% of the housewives had a “high” level of understanding of the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy. However, their participation in the Philosophy was at a “low” level or only 31.04% of the group. When characterized according to the 3 attributes of the Philosophy, it was found that 1) 75.14% of the housewives showed a “high” level of moderation, 2) 65.27% showed a “high” level of reasonableness, and 3) 44.42% showed a “low” level of self-immunity. 
        2. The housewives’ understanding of the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy had increased significantly after their participation in the mixed activities at the .01 level of significance. As regards their participation in the Philosophy, the housewives of the 3 villages were able to prepare plans for their livelihood based on the Philosophy of Sufficient Economy and to put the plans into practice continuously.
