Collaborative Citizen Enforcement of Road Safety Management: A Case Study of Motorcycling in Khon Kaen Province

 This study has the following objectives : (1) to study road safety management of motorcycle users; (2) to study citizen enforcement of road safety in accordance with road safety law of motorcycle users; (3) to study the relationship between road safety of motorcycling and collaborative citizen enforcement of road safety management; and (4) to search for approaches in road safety management which are related to collaborative citizen enforcement of road safety management in khonkaen Province. The Population used in this research are personnel relearnt to agencies in the public sector, private sector, civil Society, Secondary Schools, Local government and people who ride motorcycle in khonkaen Province. 1,135 Samples were collected for quantitative research whereas 10 for qualitative research. The instrumentation used in the research is based on questionnaire and interviewing. Descriptive statistics, frequencies, percentage, mean, standard deviation, canonical coeffiient and path diagram. It was found from canonical coeffiient analysis that road safety management is related to collaborative citizen enforcement of road safety management a high level with the model on road safety in terns of important variables of training and medical services Which are related to collaborative citizen enforcement on the Cooperation of law-abiding and expressing of ideas. It was found from an analysis of path analysis that the model of road safety management which is related to collaborative citizen enforcement in khonkaen Province is a resultant of road safety management emphasizing road safety training and medical services which in turn, are related to collaborative citizen enforcement of road safety management of khonkaen Province. And road safety management emphasizing volunteers in delivering medical services which, in turn, enable it to collaborate on law-abiding, especially a compliance with the law concerning the body of the car, the condition and standard of motorcycle body which, in turn, are related to collaborative in expressing idea on the research, development, follow-up and review of motorcycle law and regulation very neatly as well as inducing collaboration with other sectors in law enforcement of khonkaen in the years to come.
